Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri on Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The other awards she received comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the child of film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. The career of Keerthy began in the 2000s as a child actor. She returned to the film industry after completing her studies in fashion. She starred in her debut major role on screen in Geethaanjali (2013) in an Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working on films that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to be a part of several Tamil films at the same time. The director it was A. L. Vijay along with Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare much, but it did release. It was necessary to withdraw of a number of films she was already making in 2015 including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam in order to allow for bigger projects. In the end, she worked on two films together with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo as well as playing the main part in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The movie's release was delayed in 2015 and is now expected to be after September 2020. The film will be released under an entirely different name, Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring actor Ram Pothineni. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
