Aisling bea, who was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is among Ireland's wealthiest and famous comedians. The comedian has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress, and comedian from Ireland. Bea's journey began in 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after appearing in small part in Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. The comedian began to appear regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following her win of an award for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She was a captain of 8 Out of 10 Cats from 2016-2017. 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is a regular contestant in its spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian the late Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. It was only the second woman to be awarded So You Think You're Funny in 2012. The surname she uses is Bea in memory of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian the equine vet who committed suicide shortly after Bea turned three, was the victim of suicide. The news of his passing at 13 years old. Bea adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father. She even created an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's suicide experience. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher jockey trainer as well as a professional jockey. The family was obsessed race meetings and horses. Bea was a guide for horses at Irish National Stud in her early years. Bea was conscious, however she knew that race racing was not what she wanted to pursue as a profession and preferred performing.
