Aisling Bea
Aisling bea was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is among the most well-known and wealthy Irish comedians. She has been on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is an Irish actress writer and comedian. Bea began her stand-up journey in the year 2011, following appearances in bits in several Irish television shows as well as British series since 2009. The comedian began to appear regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms from 2012. The following year, after her triumph in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she got booked on various panels for the shows, and is currently regularly appearing on. From 2016 to 2017 she served as a captain in the show 8 Out of 10 Cats and has been a regular contestant on the spin-off 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has her younger sister Sinead. The second woman ever to win the You Think You're Funny award in 2012. Bea was given to her in memory of her father. Aisling Claiodhnadh, born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet who took his own life when Bea reached the age of three, was also one of the victims of suicide. She learned of his death at the age of thirteen. In 2017 she wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's entire family. Then, she took on the stage name Bea in tribute. Bea together with her younger sister Sinead was raised under the guidance of Helen Moloney (nee Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Her family were obsessed with horses and race events. As a young girl, Bea was employed as an instructor at the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she wasn't interested in the racing industry as a job, and wanted to perform.
